PIA Austria takes extensive measures to ensure the health of its employees and maintain business operations.
PIA takes the fight against the corona virus very seriously and supports the measures taken by the Austrian Federal Government. "As a manufacturing company, we make a significant contribution to the value chain in Styria and Austria, and therefore our operations are not affected by any closures for the time being. Therefore, the measures taken by the federal government do not mean a plant closure or a production stop", reports Nikolaus Szlavik, managing director of the automation specialist.
Work at the Grambach site will continue - in compliance with all World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines and official safety measures - even in this crisis situation. "The health of our employees and business partners has top priority. PIA will continue to implement all regulations thoroughly and with the utmost care and will ensure compliance with them", adds Norbert Kahr, also member of the management board of PIA Austria.
