PIA Medical Division @ PDA 2019
From October 22-23 PDA (Parenteral Drug Association) Europe had organized its annual conference in Gothenburg.
The meeting „The universe of pre-filled syringes and injection devices“ revolving around autoinjectors and insulin pens and everything related took place for the 16th time this year. The event hosted a conference with 950 attendees, a show with 135 exhibitors from all sectors of the industry, workshops and trainings. One important topic of the session was how to realize connectivity for existing devices. PIA introduced its expanded Medical Division and the expertise in manufacturing medical devices.
Since its first edition in 2004, the conference has become a fixture in the calendar for the pharmaceutical industry, and a must-attend event for everyone working in the fields related to biopharmaceutical and parenteral drug delivery and device development.
