From June 27th to the 30th, PIA presented its innovative solutions for the future of automation and robotics at automatica in Munich. After just one year, instead of the usual two years, the exhibition grounds once again became a hotspot for industry experts and technology enthusiasts.

With the number of visitors increasing noticeably compared to last year, we were thrilled with the quality of the customer discussions at our booth. Co-CEO Thomas Ernst emphasized: "It was great to see how well our broad portfolio of solutions was received by the visitors. We were even able to secure two important orders directly on site."

Under the motto "creating efficiency", PIA gave an insight into the efficient, intelligent and digital future of automation. From microcomponents for industrial and consumer goods to heavyweights in the automotive and e-mobility sectors, PIA’s solution portfolio covers a wide range of applications.

Particular interest was aroused by our exhibits, such as the touch displays for household appliances and vehicles, which were quickly and reliably automated with the help of our PIA systems. Visitors were also able to find out more about the production of battery modules for electric cars, insulin pens, and attachment brushes for electric toothbrushes at the PIA booth in Hall A6.

A new PIA feature was also showcased: the Maintenance App. The innovative app makes the maintenance of assembly and testing systems more convenient while also making it easier for users to keep track of upcoming maintenance work.

Falc Borchard, Vice President of Sales & Applications in PIA Automation North America met with customers and leading industry professionals to discuss the latest automation and technology trends. He is enthusiastic about PIA’s innovative solutions and the potential it offers global industry leaders.

“We're thrilled about the illuminating conversations that occurred at automatica involving customers, our international colleagues, and exciting perspectives. Visitors to the booth are dedicated to innovative and more efficient manufacturing solutions which led to numerous opportunities generated for our automated integration solutions.” explained Falc. “They recognize that PIA Automation is their global partner, and we support the unique needs of every customer. Our comprehensive solutions are created with consideration of the specifics for each customer as well as their entire production life cycle, including the I4.0 package and after sales service.”

“While PIA celebrates automatica’s success, we are also looking forward to the upcoming North American tradeshow in Novi, Michigan: The Battery Show and Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo. The PIA Automation team will be at Booth 3221 from September 12th to the 14th and are looking forward to informative discussions, customer interviews, and powerful innovations all around.”
