Powertrain

Efficient automation systems for maximum performance

Manufacturers are faced with the challenge of developing drive systems that are both powerful and efficient. This requires the use of state-of-the-art technologies and materials to meet strict emissions regulations while maximizing performance. The systems must also be durable and reliable.

We offer comprehensive solutions for the production and testing of powertrain components, from conventional to hybrid and electric drives. Our modular systems cover processes such as the assembly of transmissions, motor’s and electrical modules.

Core technologies

Collar nut screw connection

Collar nut screw connection

The BM station is for mounting the drive pinion bearing in transfer cases. The tightening criteria can be an end screw torque or a defined friction torque of the pinion bearing.

Torsional backlash test

Torsional backlash test

The dynamic VFS measurement is used to check gear pairings. The backlash of the pairings and the imbalance of the gear set are determined and any damage to the teeth is detected.

Gear set adjustment station

Gear set adjustment station

The TS adjustment station is used to determine the shims for axle drives and transfer cases with high precision - tailored to the design of the gearbox - in order to achieve the correct circumferential backlash at the end of assembly.
