Occupational training is highly valued at PIA Automation and belongs to the strategic corner stones of future success. Ten students finished their apprenticeship with top scores in the first half of the year. Four additional students finished in the second half shortening their training by 6 months. All of the apprentices completed their education very successfully with an outstanding average score of 1,6.

On July 25, the trainees celebrated their graduation. Two of them, Diana Bräu (technical product designer) and Tobias Purrer (mechatronics engineer) even received an award from the government of the Upper Palatinate.

The graduates were presented their diplomas during a festive ceremony by Stephan Schmalzl, head of training and the general managers André Vales und Jan-Bernd Gier. “Being an international company, we highly value the training of young people.
In doing so, we not only train the technical competence but also the personal development of those young apprentices, so they can grow and take over responsibilities.” Mr. Gier explained. Mr. Schmalzl emphasized the commitment of the trainees. All of them showed a high measure of responsibility and initiative, willingness to perform and motivation in the last few years: “They have grown both professionally and personally and they have a right to be proud of themselves”.

Our future talents will be offered unlimited working contracts. We are happy that most of them considered to stay at PIA and provide their knowhow and skill to the company. We wish everyone else all the best in continuing their studies.
