Customer satisfaction equals repeat business

PIA Automation USA is pleased to announce another order with a long standing customer. The customer’s decision to manufacture their own Four Point Bearing instead of buying them has led to the order of two assembly cells from PIA.

The lines are currently being installed in the US and designed and built in the PIA facility in Evansville (USA). The customer is a supplier of automotive steering components and is a long term partner with PIA. PIA has supplied many different products for this facility and the customer continues to partner with PIAUSA because of the quality of the equipment that they receive from us, the knowledge we have of their processes, and needs and the high level of service that we supply them. “This important customer continues to count on PIA’s expertise and competencies to advance and improve their value-add propositions to their end-customers, and it is very satisfying to have such strategic partnership that allows us to improve our solutions and offerings in the value chain of our customer”, pointed Barry Rahimian, President of PIA North America.

In this project, PIA leverages some of the already developed and validated assembly process steps to ensure good business practices and re-use of what’s already working in the field for similar applications in the Steering. PIA has successfully completed 10 automated lines/integrated cells successfully with this customer and 2 more in the process of being completed.
