Flexibility and traceability
The state-of-the-art PIA systems offer the flexibility to process multiple variants on one assembly line with short changeover times. Each assembly solution is equipped with full data traceability and tool change monitoring to ensure the highest quality and efficiency.
Our customized industrial ovens deliver precise volumes at the desired temperatures and perfectly complement our ADAS assembly lines.
Efficient production and testing processes
The imager sensor line includes a variety of specialized processes that ensure the highest precision and quality. To begin with, assembly takes place at specially equipped assembly stations, followed by thorough plasma cleaning to ensure that all surfaces are free from contamination.
The components are then securely joined together using automated screwing. The adhesive dispenser ensures precise and even distribution of the adhesive before the active alignment ensures the exact alignment of the image sensors.
UV curing and thermal curing ensure that all bonded joints are stable and durable. An optical end-of-line (EOL) test checks the quality and functionality of the finished products.
In addition, vision and pin-check inspections are carried out to confirm the correct placement and connection of all components. Thermal dispensing enables precise temperature control during the production process.
Finally, the finished image sensors are labeled and packaged in preparation for shipping.
