Experience is the key to success
This project presented significant challenges due to the short cycle times and the complex adjustment process required for backlash testing. A further critical component was integrating new output shafts on the test bench, a task complicated by the specific demands of the docking units. Achieving the precise alignment of wheelset components for both position and preload requires considerable expertise and the use of highly accurate measuring equipment—calibrated to an accuracy of 0.001 mm.
