Production line for advanced cameras
PIA has successfully delivered a fully automated assembly and test line for advanced cameras for vision-guided driving in collaboration with a leading Tier 1 manufacturer in the global automotive industry. This state-of-the-art system is suitable for L2 and L2+ autonomous driving configuration and is used by renowned brands.
Modular production concept for subsequent product process upgrades
The project comprises an intelligent magnetic levitation conveyor system with five modules for loading, assembly, and inspection and a total of 15 workstations. The complex and precise process includes PCBA assembly, plasma cleaning, active focus inspection, and comprehensive performance testing. The production line is compatible with the automated high-speed production of many different camera models and meets extremely high cleaning requirements thanks to its dust-free design.
An EOL inspection system for optical components and full industrial digital intelligent data traceability and mold monitoring are also integrated. A customized thermoset oven system ensures a cycle time of 12 seconds per part and supports high-volume production.
