TASKS

  • Evaluation of project requirements
  • Conceptual design of power supply, control circuits, and safety circuits
  • Design of electrical and fluid schematics using EPLAN P8
  • Specification of necessary hardware components
  • Ensure compliance to the relevant industry standards
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal departments
  • Provide in-house and on-site support during assembly and commissioning stages
  • Compilation of necessary technical documentation relevant for the project

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • You have expertise in EPLAN or other ELCAD tool
  • You have technical education with a specialization in electrical, control and/or automation design and engineering, (TVZ, FER, VUB or similar)
  • You have 1+ years of experience as an electrical design engineer in special machine fabrication or industrial facilities design and fabrication (preferred automotive)
  • You can work independently and in team
  • You bring flexibility, creativity, mindset focused on solution
  • You are proficient in English, while knowledge of German is an advantage
  • You are open to infrequent visits to customers, and other PIA subsidiaries, typically only a few days per year
  • Applications from finished students or students near the end of their studies will be also taken into consideration if the candidates have basic understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, automation systems, mechatronics as well as strong interest for such systems and a desire to learn.
